Activism focused public relations firm Longacre Square Partners has launched a Dallas, Texas office with the hiring of Brunswick Group veteran Rebecca Kral.

Kral will focus on expanding the firm’s corporate governance advisory and transactions practices, according to a Reuters news report.

Kral previously worked at proxy solicitor D.F. King and public relations firm Edelman.

Longacre Square was founded earlier this year by Gregory Marose and Dan Zacchei. According to public disclosures, the firm represents hedge funds including Sachem Head Capital Management and Saba Capital Management, as well as companies such as GameStop and Revlon.
